I asked what this building represented for its residents, and most of them talked about the warmth of arriving home (both emotional and physical). I based my design on these feelings, and added some graphic portraits of situations and neighbours I met while painting.
Animalitoland is the spiritual-visual universe of Graciela Gonçalves Da Silva. She focuses on connecting people’s feelings through expressive characters and a strong presence of light and color. Nurtured by a mixture of graphic design, animation, comics, painting and streetart; her curiosity constantly leads her through new paths. She has participated in Conferences, Group & Solo Exhibitions, Books, Documentaries, and Street Art projects in Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Hungary, Estonia, China, Canada, and USA.
